We partnered with SolveigMulimedia to create the next version of HyperCam. At this time the project is in preliminary "alpha" test phase. You may learn more and download a test version of HyperCam 3 from

Please note that the alpha-test version cannot be "registered" and will expire on May 10th - it's only for testing, please send us your comments and bug reports.

Hi I keep getting an error with HYPERCAM 3

CDSPlayer::OnStart()
(Unspecified Error hr = 0x80004005)

Thank you for your feedback. Could you please let us know if you use some certain video audio codecs or just default ones? Do you enable audio to be recorded?

Well, I check off the box that says record audio..

I dont know about the sound though

Do you mean the video compressor?
If you do, its on Microsoft Video 1

Hello. I love Hypercam 2 but the lack of stereo recording really made my life harder than it had to be. Hypercam 3 solves this problem but Lagarith Lossless Codec REFUSES to show up as an option in it.

There is a link to the codec if you need it. It's strange because every other codec I have installed shows up fine but not this one. Any idea why?
