Posted - 06/15/2009 : 03:09:52 I am trying to capture images from inside a game that plays in fullscreen mode, but the images do not look at all like the actual game does, colors are off...
I am using HySnap Version 6.50.03
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3 Alienware PC Pentium 3.73Ghz 4Gb Ram Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX with the latest drivers from this past month.
Here is what the pictures come out looking like...

Here is what the game actually looks like and how the images should come out looking like.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to set the settings if possible. The game is The Sims 3, but others come out looking similar.....
Thanks |

Posted - 07/03/2009 : 07:54:13 Hm, I really don't know what to do in such case. Maybe you could go to the game "Setup" and "Options" screens, try to disable every possible graphics acceleration option for a capture session, restore them back to normal when done with captures.

Posted - 06/22/2009 : 14:43:44 It seems that the capture is correct, but color are too dim. You could make them brighter again by setting the "Gamma Correction" value to something higher than 1, e.g. 1.2, 1.8 - whatever would give you the correct colors. You could set it under "Catpure" menu, "Enable video or game capture", turn on the "Game Capture" option, and also turn on "Enable post-processing...", then enter the Gamma Correction Factor value, maybe try 1.5 first, then make it higher to make images brighter, lower to make them dimmer.
